1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using TradeScaner ("the Service"), operated by Codetrivio ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
TradeScaner is a stock-market analysis platform that provides real-time signal scanning, machine-learning momentum detection, market data, order routing to third-party brokers, paper trading, and trade journaling. It is designed to assist traders in identifying potential opportunities based on technical and statistical analysis. TradeScaner is not a broker-dealer and does not hold client funds; all orders are executed by the third-party broker you connect.
TradeScaner does not provide financial advice. All information provided through the Service is for educational and informational purposes only. Backtested and validated results do not guarantee future performance. You are solely responsible for all trading decisions you make.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
4. Account Registration
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@tradescaner.com of any unauthorized use.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
- Share your account credentials with any third party
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Reproduce or redistribute any signals or analysis for commercial purposes without written consent
6. Subscription and Billing
Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise stated in our refund policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including signal algorithms, models, UI designs, text, and software — are owned by Codetrivio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that signals will be accurate or profitable. Market data is provided by third-party sources and we are not responsible for its accuracy or timeliness.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codetrivio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including trading losses, lost profits, or loss of data — arising out of your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
